A CURSED THRONE (#1)

I am my mother’s daughter. Princess, born to an angel, who is The Queen of Hell, and leader of the legion, the group of fallen angels that divided Heaven. But I am also my father’s progeny. Daughter of a daemon sired when mortality coursed through his veins, after the Devil shot him and tried to claim my mother.

The spirit of Heaven, fires of Hell, and blood of mankind runs through my veins, along with a destiny to rule or destroy them. The crown I was born with is heavy, but the weight never felt a burden thanks to Declan, Luca, and Kai.

Bound by an unconventional childhood, our friendship was my world. Then one day they were gone. Turning their backs on me, as if I never mattered at all. So I left their traitorous hearts behind and started a new existence without them.

But it’s time to come home. It’s been three years since we last saw one another, and I haven’t forgotten or forgiven. Angel, daemon, mortal…I may have been born with the blood of all three, but soon my former friends will know there is no greater force, than a heart scorned.

Thanks to the powers thrust upon me, and the hearts to which they are connected, I am no longer a pawn to be protected. I am a force to be feared. Created by Heaven’s own hand, I wasn’t just born to rule. I was born to destroy. And the next time The Augury takes from me, will be their last. I am a child of the Fallen. We don’t play games. We play to win.

Only, I have one heart left to claim and when I do, I will be ready for my kingdom. Because I may have been born a princess, but I am destined to be a queen.
